1 Corinthians 9:25
“Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”
If you have ever practiced, trained, and readied yourself for a competition, a season of a sport or a big event like a concert for example you know it takes a lot time, effort and consistency to do well in those endeavors. One of the most amazing things about consistently spending time with the Lord is that its not stressful, tiresome, or something that is prepared for and all the sudden over.
Each day we are on stage or in the game. Each day we can use the fruits of what we know in a Spiritual sense to help make our lives and the lives of people around us better. Who we impact, the lives we are able to make a difference in, what our gifts are can truly be passed on to this generation and future generations and last forever. You have it in you to be a difference maker, a world changer. So compete for the crown that will last for ever!
LORD HELP YOUR SPIRIT LIVING IN ME TO WIN TODAY OVER MY DESIRES OF THE FLESH SO THAT I CAN BECOME EVEN MORE AWARE OF HOW YOU CAN WORK IN ME AND THROUGH ME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!
