What are the odds?? An interesting conversation...

One of the things I love to do, is to share my blogs with everyone, and get feedback! I recently sent my last blog to a gal who is going through Real Estate School, Erika.
I sent her the link, and asked her permission to post our conversation. She graciously said yes. Here it is:
New Blog: Let me know what you think!
Erika: I liked it! Straight to the point with no sugar coating and honest! Wow, those numbers are scary. Do you think those people were putting in any effort at all???
My response: In truth, what I think and what I have experienced is that people sign on with big companies, pay money for “training” which is more like a two week crash course, and then get thrown to the wolves with no plan of action or accountability. They’re also told to market themselves, which every top agent does, but notice I said TOP agent! When you’re first starting out in any business, you need to first learn WHAT to do, and then do it effectively, AND build your client base for a strong foundation. It’s really that simple! Too bad people make it more complicated! If I have you’re permission, I’d like post a blog about our “conversation”. I think it will help people see it from a different point…Do I have your permission??
Why do I post this "conversation"? Because the truth is, that most people that start off in Real Estate, are led to work in all the wrong things for a long period of time, and then end up falling out of Real Estate.
What's the definition of insanity? According to Einstein :
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein, (attributed) US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955)
Effort IS necessary, but putting your efforts into "strategies" that don't really work, is still considered insanity!
Call me crazy (and some do!) but that's just not a smart way to work in ANY area of your life! If you're done beating your head against the wall and hoping the outcome will be different this time...we should talk!
