French Toast Ham & Cheese Sandwich

The french toast ham and cheese sandwich, perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

2 Eggs

5 Tablespoons milk

1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Pinch of black pepper (optional)

3 Pieces of Deli American Cheese (not the stuff wrapped in plastic wrap)

2 Pieces Deli ham

2 Slices bread

Directions

On one piece of bread place one and a half piece of the cheese to cover bread.  Top with the two pieces of ham, cover with remainder one and one half piece of cheese.

In a shallow dish beat the 2 eggs, add milk and blend.  Salt and pepper if desired.

Place sandwich in the egg mixture about 20 seconds per side.  Remove to a wire rack to avoid over soaking.

On low heat cook about 3 - 4 minutes per side.
