GETLOST2?
Most weekdays are a reflex upon waking. I smile first, then get up, dress up and show up, ready to work. Driving to the office allows time for quiet reflection, mental list making and planning an agenda.
When adversity occurs, it can affect the strongest of positive mindsets, creating doubt and niggling feelings. Resisting prevents outside negative forces from taking you down to an unhealthy level.
Of course, there are times when I have temporarily went off-course because of a sudden death or unforeseen events in the family, sickness, professional disappointments. This is what I consider normal.
But when someone intentionally tries to hurt by pushing a hateful, destructive behavior in my direction, they better take a wash-boarded dirt road faster than lickety-split to avoid a head-on collision.
They are more than welcome to stay well in their own lane and get gone because I refuse to follow or engage them or GETLOST2 in contrived foolishness! I haven't the time nor tolerance.
