The beach was beautiful yesterday. We are in the season when we have very low tides. Pictured above are several reefs popping out of the water. We usually do not see these reefs until fall/winter. Soon the time will be so low that the area covered with water will be sandy!
If you look closely at the furthest reef, you can see the sea lions (big gray blobs) sunning themselves. There is a real big one in the upper right hand corner.
The gulls were having some sort of meet up. They ignored us as we walked by.
Just across from where we parked our car, the picnic tables were taken over by a keyboard player and a guitar player. They were paying classical music and current hits and golden oldies.
The keyboard player asked a teenage girl, if she had heard of the Beatles, and she said "Yes". He exclaimed to his partner, "See, all is not lost, there is hope for this world!" And they started playing, "She's Got a Ticket to Ride" written by John Lennon..
Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!
