Last November, we flew to Florida to assist our clients with a commercial real estate venture.  As some of our readers may know, we owned a commercial real estate firm in the affluent marketplace of Los Angeles, which included Beverly Hills.

 

Due to the pandemic, luxury goods sales, which are fueled by international travel, have plummeted. The industry is in the midst of unprecedented disruption and transformation.

 

Luxury brands need to act now to create their omnichannel future: a consistently amazing, personalized customer experience in brick & mortar stores, e-commerce and social media.

 

Napa Consultants, Int’l introduced Bal Harbour Shops in Florida, perhaps the most prestigious luxury shopping center in the US, to the concept of doing pop-up stores with events and personal shopping as a service via e-commerce at Ocean Reef Club®, the #2 private club in the US.

 

Flanked by Saks 5th Avenue and Neiman Marcus, Bal Harbour Shops showcases many of the most iconic luxury brands in the world. Ocean Reef is located in Upper Key Largo, Florida almost two hours south of Bal Harbour a village in Miami County.

 

This luxury brand strategy generates remote foot traffic for the stores plus e-commerce sales with the potential of 24 hour delivery or less.

 

Bal Harbour Shops, who launched their own e-commerce Marketplace in 2020, immediately saw our vision of creating the next wave of omnichannel luxury retail. 100% of the tenants surveyed expressed interest in creating pop-up stores at the Bal Harbour Shops Marketplace on the ground floor of the Plaza Building.

 

We think this is going to be a game-changer at Ocean Reef and a beacon of light in a sea of change for the luxury retail industry.

Very interesting. I love Bal Harbour Shops. (I miss Miami) We visit the upper keys often and stay with friends on the water. It is awesome. Our friends own a bronze statue shop in Key Largo. I am always amazed at what folks will pay for the statues.

Yes there is going to be a lot of much needed shifting within the retail world.  I am seeing it going on here in Scottsdale.  There are also a few malls that many of the big stores have closed. I heard news yesterday that there is a new plan in place for the Paradise Valley Mall and I am looking forward to seeing what happens.  How exciting to be working on this projects - Awesome!  Keep sharing intersting stories like this - love em!

Hi Ron and Alexandra- I like the concept. When the client/customer can't come to the store....bring the store to them. When we first moved to Florida I remember going down to see the Shops at Bal Harbour.
