Weed-Be-Gone

I saw this recommendation on Facebook and it appears to be an easy mixture for a week killer. Have you tried this combination or do you have another suggestion for a home-made weed killer?

We are seeing our first weeds of the season in our garden.

Enjoy your home garden.

May be an image of text that says 'WEED-BE-GONE 1 Gallon Vinegar 2 Cups Epsom Salt 1/4 Cup Dawn Dish Soup (The Blue Original) It will kill anything you spray it on. Just mix and spray in the morning, Weed Spray after the dew has evaporated. Walk away. Go back after dinner and the weeds are all gone! Cheaper than anything you can buy anywhere! Never buy Round-up again! Natural News'

Sorry, Roy... no suggestions from me... I am exceedingly allergic to anything to do with grass or gardening. :)

It sounds about right the vinegar being acidic mixed with the neutralizing epsom salts

Sounds like a great alternative to all the poisonous weed control products out there. I'm definitely going to give it a try. Thanks Roy!

That might be worth trying!  I know the epsom salts are needed in our soil since there is generally a lack of magnesium.  Thanks for the tip.

I remember I had a patch on my lawn that was invaded with crab grass.  I sprinkled baking soda on it, and it cleared it right out.

I might need to share this with my husband. We had some weeds growing between the cracks of our driveway. Now that it is spring and the grass is growing he'll be spending more time in the yard.

Roy, luckily my HOA takes care of the exterior, but they don't keep up with the weeds as much as I would prefer, so great recipe.
