The Magazine Place Condos are in the center of the New Orleans Warehouse District on the corner of Julia and Magazine. Its 7 blocks to the French Quarter, 4 blocks to the Outlet Mall, 3 blocks to the World War II Museum and 3 blocks to St. Charles Ave. It is just a great location.
The origional building was an Armour Meat Packing Plant where sausage was made. An addition was made later when the apartments were built. These are going to be the town house style units that border the parking lot.
The majority of the units in the origional building are one bedrooms. They will have street view and the doors open to the courtyard. The elevator is near the parking lot and the gym. There are a few tow bedrooms but not many.
There are 52 units that were converted into condos in 2002. A lot has been done to the condos since that time. The one bedroom range from about 500-800 for a one bedroom unit. Wood floors in living area, high ceilings and Warehouse windows are the norm. Kitchens tend to be small. Each unit has its own washer and dryer. The two bedroom are about 1000-1200 with the townhouse styles having the most room.
You have a nice gym on the first floor. A nice roof top viewing area where you see the entire Warehouse District that overlooks Julia Street.
The condo has been painted since these photos and the common areas were shaped up. This is often the case when the associations become 10-12 years old. The condo fees remain moderate and there is so much to do in the area now compared to 10 years ago.

Parking is in gated lot or in the basement of the complex. Most units will have parking in either place.
