This is a Montgomery County, Maryland announcement.

The focus of this "sign sweep" is political signs remaining from the recent primary election. Real estate agents need to be sure their signs are not on public property during this clearance.

A "sign sweep"...gee Roy I have never heard of one of these before, but it's such a great idea!

I will be happier when all of the political signs are gone.  Politics in general puts me in a bad mood, haha.

Good morning, Roy, Charlotte is pretty strict about signage in public areas. I don't know that we have a "sweep day" but they disappear regularly.

Roy, every once in a while after an election, we see these signs along the streets also.

Good morning Roy,

What a great idea! A sign sweep can be necessary in some areas so glad to see in your area they are doing this.

Hi Roy - I have seen many intersections in our area that are plastered with signs.

Those signs are a testament to how we the American people are feeding the Political Industrial Complex with our campaign dollars.  I still continue to be amazed at the amount of campaign crap that reaches my mailbox.
