Good morning. While the market does dictate what contingencies will be accepted by a seller, I agree with including these 4 as a regular course of business.

Good morning, Kat Palmiotti I also agree that they should be included and it is interesting to see some of the contingencies that others come up with, haha.

That is the contingency that I have always liked the least Leanne Smith, it's not good for a seller if their buyer cannot sell their home in a timely manner.

Hi Brian England - This is always an important topic for buyers and sellers.  During our hot market that is no longer,  Buyers had to sweeten the pot for the sellers by eliminating the contingencies.  Now, it is a different market, and sellers have to consider what is right for them.  I still advise sellers to not consider a buyer with home to sell that is not in contract or through the home inspection contingency.

Yes, we are starting to see buyers using contingencies again after the craziness of the past year and a half of not being able to include even a home inspection and get your offer considered.

Having them back is a good thing Lise Howe and I wonder what repercussions people are experiencing from having to give them up.

That was one of the most unfair things about the super hot market Sheri Sperry - MCNE® there are some contingencies that buyers should not have to give up, no matter what.

Even if I had buyers waive an inspection contingency Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 I would still make sure they had an inspection, they needed to at least know what they were getting into.

Good morning, Grant Schneider buyers shouldn't have waived the contingencies during the frenzied market nor should sellers have required it.
