Something nearly every Buyer considers when moving to a new location are the types of schools. In Flower Mound, there are two High Schools. The focus on this blog post is to share what is unique about Marcus High School. Another thing buyers consider is Location. Directions to Marcus High School are simple and easy for Owners who need to travel for a living. The Campus is located at 5707 Morriss Road. From DFW International Airport, travel North on FM 2499 eight miles to Dixon Road. Turn right on Dixon Road. Go 1.4 miles to arrive. On the right is Marcus 9th Grade Campus.

After completing 9th Grade High School at Marcus, students attend 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Campus next to the 9th Grade High School. The Flower Mound Community is invested in student education and job opportunities. Local jobs for students are many to choose from. A fun place for students to work is across the street at Sonic where students/employees roller skate to cars to choose and deliver their orders. For students attending Flower Mound High School, there is also another Sonic located nearby Campus too.
The Flower Mound Library recently went through major construction during the pandemic and expanded their facilities. It's GORGEOUS and very accommodating for anyone in the community to learn. The Flower Mound Library partners well with all schools in Flower Mound. Currently, the Flower Mound Library has collaborated with Marcus High School DECA Club, an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in high schools and colleges around the globe in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
The Flower Mound Public Library is a great place for students to have Fireside Chats with friends. Adults can too! The location for the library is in a beautiful neighborhood with things to do with job opportunities too. Lifetime Fitness is just a short walk away and so is Sonic. Located at 3030 Broadmoor Lane in Flower Mound there is always something interesting and fun going on at the Library. Students and Patrons can also book private rooms or just sit out in the open where everything is closely spaced out with plenty of elbow room.
In the photo on the top left at the back of the photo is one of many Study Rooms behind glass and door set up with tables and chairs for private study groups. There is even a unique Creation Lab. The art work is from local elementary school student contributions. There are many different size tables, chairs, and locations to study privately or in groups with ample lighting and electrical outlets for technology. With the exception of Marcus 9th Grade High School, all of the other photos I took were from inside or around the Flower Mound Public Library on November 30, 2022. The library is bounded by the Lifetime Fitness Center, Sonic, Medical buildings, small businesses, and beautiful established neighborhood homes and trees. The nearest Grocery Stores are Krogers and Market Street. Of course, there is a plethora of interesting restaurants. Fall is a great time to think about transformation and change.
