Montgomery County offers endless opportunities for employment, entertainment, education and recreation.  And not only is this true, but it offers opportunity for its residents to have input into the development of how county services are provided.  If you want to be more deeply involved, there are numerous volunteer board positions within the county that advise the county council and executives on a variety of matters that shape the way the county serves its citizens.  If you are interested in sitting on such a board, visit the county website for more information.

Of course there are also numerous civic associations which also have the ear of those who govern. But if you just want input on a particular issue, there are so many public hearings in which to have input.  Below is just one example of how the county seeks input from its citizens.  If you are currently a county resident, this is a great opportunity to have an impact on the future of parks and recreation within Montgomery County.
