Clearly not me, because I passed that milestone 2,256 points ago without noticing. Oh my!
As a new member, I was one of those people who signed up for ActiveRain and disappeared for several months with only a photo and minimal profile - from August 2006 to March 2007, to be exact. Something brought me back to ActiveRain in March and, to my surprise, I was already a member - that's when I posted my first comments and blog posts.
No one accumulates a lot of points alone, so let me use ths milestone to thank all you prolific bloggers who never stop posting new and interesting content on ActiveRain. I have learned so much, and in the process of commenting on your brilliant posts, I have earned nearly 75,000 comment points.
Thank you very much to everyone who reads my blogs - especially those I've gotten to know on a personal level through meeting first hand, talking on the phone, and consistently exchanging comments and emails. You've encouraged me to post nearly 400 blog posts, for another 107,000+ points.
The greatest (and most unexpected) benefit of ActiveRain, however, has been the new business generated as a direct result: Listings in my market that I never would have gotten, without ActiveRain... new buyers, who found one of the posts in my online relocation package and went on to read others... referrals from agents on ActiveRain..
Thanks to all for helping me achieve this milestone! Now, on to the next one...
