Many of us got into Real Estate for many different reasons. Some of us fell in love with the idea of firing our bosses and working for ourselves. Some of us love working with others and we saw the Real Estate Industry as a way to help people and get paid to do it. Some of us were enamored with idea of working when we wanted to...a more flexible schedule. What ever the reason may have been, my question is "Are you still having fun?"
The market has changed and created new challenges for us. Some of us have gotten burned out and maybe a littled jaded. I challenge you to go back in your mind and remember how it was when you first started out. Remember your enthusiasm? Remember your eternal optimism? Are you having trouble remembering how excited you were to meet with your first client?
Well here's my recommendation to bring back some of that enthusiasm. Take a look around your office. See that bright-eyed new agent over there...always smiling...naive...full of energy? Walk over to that new agent and invite them to lunch (on you). Let some of those fresh ideas, optimism and hope rub off. Share some of your experience (please keep it positive) and of course give them a meal (remember their struggling to get the business going).
You won't lose anything by doing this...and believe me...you might be surprised to find that you've regained some of that spark that may have begun to die out!
