Real Estate Agent with Integrity Real Estate Group

Are you ready for today's buyer?  Is your agent ready for today's buyer?

Just two of the important questions you need to ask yourself this spring.  Yes I can help you understand the importance of pricing your home correctly and getting your home "staged" to appeal to buyers when they walk in the door.  More importantly I can get your home in front of thousands of potential buyers before they even walk in the door.

Home buyers today are not spending their Saturday and Sunday mornings at home pouring over the classified ads in the newspaper.  Instead they are surfing the web looking for homes on-line.  So is your home on-line?  Is your home on more than one website?  Even more importantly how does your home look if it is on-line?

According to recent research by the National Association of REALTORS®, 83% percent of home buyers say photos and detailed property descriptions are the most useful features when searching for homes online.  I'm always surprised when I look on line and see only one exterior photo of a home or even worse there are multiple photos that are so dark that you can't tell what you are actually viewing.

So what do I do that is different?  One of the many on-line opportunities I provide for my clients to take advantage of this trend is with my commitment to enhance all properties I market with multiple photos and customized property descriptions on the #1 real estate site REALTOR.com®.

Listings on REALTOR.com® with six photos are viewed 299% more often, on average and rise to the top when searched by number of photos.  And because I enhance all of my clients' properties on REALTOR.com® with multiple photos and detailed property descriptions, these properties also receive this high-impact placement on other popular Web portals such as AOL® and MSN®, helping reach the largest audience of home buyers.

This is just one of the on-line avenues I take to get your home viewed by more home buyers.  Ask me about others and how this great trend in selling real estate in the 21st century can save you money when you go to sell your home.

Any thoughts on whether Realtor.com's new property search redesign, launched just last week as a beta, will have any affect on how consumers use the site and view its listings?

I think today's online home buyers are a technically savy group.  It doesn't seem to matter what age group of "generation" they belong to.  I have been playing with the new version and I don't really see a learning curve that would prevent anyone from using it.   I might have given the company some additional suggestions for features.  As a former product manager for a couple of tech companies I have spent a lot of time helping launch new software.  There will probably be some glitches along the way but the old version will be forgotten soon enough.
