Remember you don't need to spend alot of money on hiring a Stager to do all the work for you, But you do need to have at least a Home Staging Consultation so you have an idea on how to address the rooms to show there best.

Yes, home staging consultations are great for the seller who's on a budget. I started offering a lower priced Verbal consultation as opposed to just the more expensive Written report and have had much better feedback. The information is the same, just saves me time converting my notes into a report. =)

The best combination is a consultation combined with staging service, though. Even if it's only an hour or two for the professional to come back and tweak...

I just posted a comment on your wonderful post. I believe in helping every one with every budget sell their home.

If they can only afford a DIY consultation then that is what I will give them.

The home owner with proper coaching from a Stager or Staging consultant will surprise you on how good they can make their home look.
