Rich, This is great information. I remember bringing my girls to a similar event when they were very young. It gave me peace of mind to have these ID cards, with the girls fingerprint and identifing marks listed. Thank God we never needed to use them.

Rich..I have this annoying habit of be skeptical. They started this type of program when my son was younger. We did have his finger prints done and I was never entirely comfortable with it. They did say they didn't keep the records but.....?

Debbie - We didn't have these when I was a kid, but then again things are a bit different today. I too am very glad you never had to use them.

Joan - I too approach things with a healthy dose of skepticism. I too hope that this event is totally positive and does not have some hidden agenda. Government entities keeping the records would be wrong. I understand the concern, but the possible benefit would seem to outweigh the negative.

Danny - Having vital information is extremely important if something horrific and unforeseen were to ever occur. And, it is free!
