I recently had to get rid of my 1997 Honda Accord Station Wagon and I am shopping ofr a car to replace it. I liked it because it was a car that still gave me the capability to haul things. I have been window shopping since February 2008 and today I think I found my match. The Hummer H3. It is room, gas mileage is ok, but it actually is the same as my BMW, and it is not too big and not too small. It reminds me of a Tonka Truck. (Not to mention the great incentives on 08's)

If you or someone you know drives a Hummer, please share with me your thoughts about it.

Hubby had a H2. What a gas hog that was. But it was a good ride and over the two years we had it we were pleased. I liked it!

Some say you are what you drive. The question one might ask is how are you preceived by your clients driving a Hummer. With press beating on the public to find clean burning and earth freindly transportation is a Hummer a good fit, I don't know but we see some on the road in Florida with signs plastered all over them for the Realtor driving it and I have heard more negative comments than postive ones. Now this is Florida which is flat so why a Hummer? Just a thought. Good luck shopping.

I am driving my second H3. Mine was one of the first rolled onto the lots in 2006 - I had over 75000 miles on it by this year so I bought another. My gas mileage is about 20 per gallon and the car stays in 4 wheel drive which works for me - I hated moved my Escalade in and out of 4 wheel when necessary.
