Jonathan Creek in Haywood County, North Carolina, is Still Blooming!

By
Real Estate Agent

The Jonathan Creek area off of 276 in Haywood County is more rural than city, with farms, rolling hills and beautiful mountains, log homes in beautiful developments such as Campbell Mountain Estates, and is comprised of land desired by the Cataloochee Wilderness Resort developers.  Jonathan Creek is also close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where one can drive out to see the beautiful elk that have been reintroduced to the wilderness of Western North Carolina.

Late yesterday afternoon I drove around Jonathan Creek, hoping to find colorful flowers still flourishing and find them I did!  Here's a taste.

Hi Michael, hmmm.  What will I do??  There will always be animals and maybe a few cowboys in tight blue jeans!

Morning Susie,

You sure do have an eye with that camera. And from your comment to Michael, I gather an appreciation for many things. LOL  Have a great day!

Susie....Beautiful shot in this post...and in your last post, am I right...that looks like a Rose of Sharon, as I believe they are called?

Digital photography is so awesome! You can snap, snap, snap, and then get rid of those that did not turn out...instead of the "good 'ole days" when we had to send in the film and wait!

We've come a long, long, long way baby!!!

Ooooo! A beatiful shade of pink! And BTW, I commented I my post that just got featured, and gave you a link back in the comment. Just a little SEO help =)   Because you're right. You do post to the Things to Do/Places to Visit group a lot! I just didn't see one of yours in the new postings when I logged on yesterday. Sorry! You do deserve to be on that list. Remind me when I do another one ;)

Thom and Ray, can't find my flower book at the moment, but I think you are right.

Lisa, thanks for the SEO help!  Always appreciated.  Will go back and look at your featured post again!
