Leesa, my wife has a killer recipe for chili. Our chili event of the year is on Halloween. We make a big batch, invite all our friends and their families and take the kids trick or treasting with a belly full of delicious chili.

This sounds like a fun event and the proceeds benefit a fine group!

Leesa, This is just what I have been waiting for CHILI!!!!!!!!  I have to go out to get it Jeanne won't let me make it, she is such a whimp with spicy foods.  I really don't understand why, just because The last time I made it we put the leftovers in the freezer and it defrosted it?  Go figure....

Leesa, I love Chili Cookoffs! We make a mean vegetarian chili. My daughter was a vegetarian for a while and so I made this Chili for her and it turned out so good....that now it's our "famous chili recipe! Great post for localism.

Hi Leesa,

Sounds like a fun event. We always did a chili feast the day we took the children to the tree faarm to get out Christmas tree. There were 8 adults an 12 children in our group. Was lots of fun. The kids played in the snor while their dads went back to the entrance and bought the trees the farm owner had pre-cut.
