The new 5 Million Dollar stadium finally located on the Lexington High Schools grounds started off with a bang!

And on the first play in the stadium's history, a Wildcat player christened the field by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown on the way to a resounding victory against a neighboring rival of Batesburg-Leesville. What a way to start the new season and traditions.
"What a way to open the new stadium," said athletics director and football coach Allen Sitterle. The Wildcats celebrate in the 33-14 victory against Batesburg-Leesville.
I am a little sad to know that my son will never play in Wildcat Hollow where I relive alot of high school memories. But the new stadium I'm sure will make new ones for us all!
