Midori - We were so happy to be able to do this for you. We pulled him aside, shot the video and then chatted for a while.

I realize most people may not have heard of him, yet in the blogging community he's a superstar! He was always in demand, always being pulled in different directions, yet when we mentioned ActiveRain and you, he gave us all the time we wanted. As John says, very approachable. Very Nice.

Fellow AR Bloggers, do what Midori says and read his blogs, buy his books, be a better connector.

REBlogWorld, Blogworld and the New Media Expo was indeed a fantastic event. We had some great fun, made some great connections and shared some great ideas.

Next year the event will be in October. This was only the second year for BlogWorld and the first for REBlogWorld. My guess is that next year we'll have more than doubled on the RE participation. Love to see everyone here in ActiveRain make it next year.

Mike-when the makeover2takeover contest came out..I was in a little funk...when I saw the contest..I didn't read it completely and ran and emailed Darren and asked him to mentor me...so when I went back to read it...again...I felt like such a total dork...why because it was not a blogging contest..I had to send him a retraction...and as humble and kind as Darren is he responded..but still today I feel like a total dork.

I absolutely love his book...I am not technical and I am really starting to get the online thing...he explains it well and I really like his thoughts. By following just a few tips my relationships have grown so much...now if only I could get more focus on my outside blogs.

You have no idea what all of this has meant to me...you and John are dreamy as well! :) I mean to really understand that a few blog posts I had written in the past were so memorable for you guys to even think about doing something like this on my behalf.

Next, I can't even imagine how Darren feels at those conferences...the celeb of blogger's! To think he took time out to address us all is inpactful...thoughtful and now you know why I have this mad crush on him. He never stops giving...

I talk about talent crushes all the time...I am just so impressed and mesmorized by so many...I can't thank all of you enough! In the world of social networking there are many who I have crushes on.

When I first saw your post...I was acting like a star struck young girl...I really wasn't capable of resonding right away. Even today...I am sitting here thinking pinch myself already....

The three of you made my smile.
