The most compelling reason for me to join Active Rain was to be part of this unique platform that has Facilitated Knowledge Sharing from individuals with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Facilitating knowledge sharing can lead to increased innovative performance, but knowledge sharing does not come easy – individual’s willingness to engage in knowledge sharing is a central barrier for sustainable knowledge sharing activities.
The main challenge for facilitating knowledge sharing is to ensure that the exchange is seen as equitable for the parties involved, and it seems there are many members who've decided that it's well worth their time and effort being a part of the Active Rain Community.
