Julie,
Congratulations on your first post! It can be very addicting from this point on, so prepare yourself! I will be looking forward to reading what interesting projects you are working on and what input on the staging industry you may have. As for the next post, I hope you will share some pic's. I am going to help to walk you through putting in the pic's... and before you know it...you will be a pro at this!
Step 1: Click on the picture of the tree in the tool bar. Step 2: Click on the icon at the end of the Image URL bar. This will bring you to the browse button. Step 3: Click on the browser button and select the picture you wish to put in your post. Press the upload button. Step 4: Select the Insert button and your picture should magically appear in your blog or comment.
Hope this helps! Best wishes for continued success!
First timer no more. SO, see all the help you received here. These are the people that give and give and get back what they give. Welcome to AR posting...hope to see more, with photos.
Hi Julie-
Great to see you finally do your first post here on the AR network. CONGRATS!! What I would recommend is to go to the "Getting Started" link on the main page of AR. (it's right under the channels area) This will give you many of the instructions you'll need like adding photos etc. I know you have been her for a while, but you may still find that link to be very helpful.
Glad to see you are finally getting your feet wet in the "rain!" :-)
Hi Julie,
I've been here for over a year now and I just emailed my assistant to post a blog because I couldn't find my cheat sheet with the instructions.
We're looking forward to hearing more from you!
Great to see you getting your feet wet in the RAIN Girlfriend!! Soon you will be diving in!!!! You go girl!
Julie ~ Good luck with finding your way around A/R -- Brad has posted some very helpful advice that will answer most of your questions.
Julie,
I've been here for over two years as well but hardly ever post... good for you for stepping out!
~SHANNON~
Julie, CONGRATS on your first post. I too, joined and didn't even come back to comment or read for a long time. You will be up to speed in no time, then you will learn something new everyday!! Check out Kristal Kraft's post with photos of how to add pictures Here's another whole page/group to help Let me know if I can help. You are off to a great start!! God bless,
Julie: I use Firefox when I can't get anything else to work. You can have several browsers on your computer at any time, even have several open at the same time. Good luck!
Julie - Welcome! This is a great community. Whenever I have a question, I know I can write a quick blog and ask it, and then I'll get great help from my wise and creative AR colleagues. And it's fun to have an outlet for writing, which I enjoy doing, and a topic I'm fascinated with. I'm trying to figure out how to make time to write blogs, read blogs, comment on blogs, find jobs, do jobs, and have a life all at the same time. AR is addicting, but then you may already know that ... Good luck with the pictures. It took me a while, too.
Hi Again Julie, I sure hope that you get your toolbar working soon. We are anxious to see your photos, etc. God bless, have a blessed day.
Julie, isn't it great all the help you get here on Active Rain! Good job on the post! Keep it up!
Welcome to the blogging world. I know when I started I thought I would have nothing important to say... no one would read my blogs and I wasn't really sure what on earth I would talk about. Now, 380 posts later.... I guess I had more to say than I thought!! I'm sure you'll find the same thing to be true...
Julie, one giant step and you'll be running in no time. I'm still new and getting my feet wet too but everyone has been wonderful and very helpful. I think I'm becoming addicted, oh no, oh no.......:)
Julie, Congratulations and Welcome! At least you had the good sense to make your first blog post an introduction! I posted for the first time a few weeks ago and skipped right over that part I was so nervous! You've gotten a lot if good tutorials here in inserting pictures etc but if you run into problems again, there are tons of tutorials, even videos etc. explaining things like how to align pictures (once you get them in! lol). Just go to search at the top of every page and type in whatever you're looking for. Trust me...I spent days doing this. Great job! Being stagers, we're all good at visualizing so don't worry.
