Come get your fall Pumpkin at Hyde Park this Year. Each year Hyde Park Village hosts an annual Pumpkin Patch. This year the Pumpkin Patch starts October 18th and ends on October 31st. The Pumpkin Patch is being held to benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay! The hours of the event are: Monday through Wednesday 5 - 8 pm, Thursday & Friday 12 - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 8 pm, Sunday 12 noon - 6 pm.
Hyde Park in Tampa was originally settled during the Florida "Boom" years of the 1920's. Many of the houses reflect the architectural style of that era. Hyde Park is just west of downtown Tampa and south of Kennedy Avenue. Many of the houses have been restored to their former glory. The streets are beautifully shaded with large oak trees.
At the heart of Hyde Park is Old Hyde Park Village, an upscale commercial development, accents the new vitality of Tampa's most historic neighborhood district. Old Hyde Park has shops, restaurants and movie theaters. Many of the dining establishments have outside eating areas for the patrons to enjoy Florida's beautiful weather. Hyde Park Village is located at Swann and Dakota Avenues.
