As a transplant to Northwest Arkansas I can tell you that this is the best kept secret in the country. The schools, industry, growth, and the overall health of the economy are second to none. Many people know that Wal-Mart is here, that is a given, however the other large regional employers including JB Hunt, Tyson, and several other key manufacturers have provided a solid financial base for this area to prosper.
I can say first hand that I am glad to call Northwest Arkansas home. Having lived in California, Missouri, and Florida, I have experienced many facets of a community. The mix of tradition and value along with the beauty of the Ozark Mountains make this area a "rare find".
