Online Social Networks - What's the attraction?

By
Mortgage and Lending with Canopy Mortgage, LLC NMLS 124492

During the past year, the phenomenon of online social networking has ballooned into a juggernaut. Even this network has grown beyond real estate professionals networking amongst themselves. I therefore pose the question to other blogging junkies:

What’s your attraction to online social networks?

By the way, I welcome your invitation and look forward to networking with you not only here, but also on my other social networks: LinkedIn, Keith Ferrazzi Community, My Modern Metropolis, My Linking Power Forum, NW Indiana reCONNECT...or you can follow what I am doing on twitter.

Dang if I know.

Now a real estate network?  That's different.

Lenn is right. Blogging with a purpose now that is innovated and invigorating. Well, maybe not so invigorating but it sure is a charge when someone appreciates one of your posts.

For me its the opportunity to network and socialize with potential buyers and sellers. Active rain is great for connecting with other real estate professionals but doesn't really put you in front of potential clients outside of the referrals and public blog posts.

Heyy anything not to prospect, door knock, cold call is welcome by me. And online netwroking sites are the perfect time killer without the guilt trip

James good to make your acquantance, and I will indeed now have some fun with Matt!

I will be joining, following, and connecting to all your sites and blogs in the next few minutes, not that I'm a weirdo or stalker, but I like to do it once so it's all automatic
