By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with RED Properties NC #129285

Wake Forest NC is a great place to be on Friday nights with the local, high school football games!  Cheer your home team, join in the frenzy as the cheerleaders ramp up the excitement and be sure to wear your local team fleece!  The crisp fall area and a high school football game......what a way to spend a Friday night!

What about the next morning though if you get injured during the game or experiencing pain?  Where do you go?  Do you have to wait the entire weekend before seeking treatment?  NO!

From 8:00am - 11:00am each Saturday after the Friday night game you can visit a clinic at the Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina's (OSNC) Wake Forest office!  The clinic is open to all high school, college and professional athletesDr. Mark W. Galland, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon that specializes in sports medicine, will administer personal attention to those in need after a Friday night game.  While the most frequent visitors are football players from a Friday night game any athlete may visit the clinic.  Some of the most common injuries Dr. Galland attends to are knee, schoulder, foot, ankle and hand just to name a few.

If an athlete is under 18 years of age the clinic requires a note of parental consent to receive treatment.  Appointments are not required and patients are only billed their standard co-pay for the visit.  Should a patient be unisured Dr. Galland will treat free of charge.

The Wake Forest Office is located at:

847 Wake Forest Business Park
Suite 202
Wake Forest, NC 27587

Leesa this is a great post on Friday night football. in Texas, as you know it's something of an alternative "religion". Football also has a special relationship with Orthopedic Surgeons...Our son played football and had to have a complete ACL at the end of his junior season. they did a good and expensive job and the next year he was back?!?!? It's amazing how quickly they can recover and actually everyone in our family (except me) has been to this Dr. more than once! I think we are contributing to his kids college fund for sure! thanks

Thanks, Russell!  It just wouldn't be a regular Friday night in the Fall around here without the games!  This clinic is great for all the kids that need it the next day and, yes, it is amazing the work that they can do putting our bodies back together!
