Creative Marketing with Stamps

By
Education & Training with Consistent Clients

Have you ever come across a really creative product, and realized there were lots of ways you could use it in your business? I just did!

Real estate marketing with stampsPhotoStamps is a neat idea - you take a photo, any photo, and they’ll put it on real US stamps you can use.

There are lots of ways you can use this. Use custom postage on all your mailings, so everyone on your mailing list recognizes your face (or your logo).

Or, take a nice photo of the house your client just bought, and send them a couple sheets they can use on their House-Warming Party invitations, “We’ve Moved” Announcements, or just in general correspondance. You can be sure they’ll remember that gift, and when friends and family ask about them, your name comes up right away.

Have some fun, and send out stamps with you dressed up for the holidays (think a Santa Hat or party hat for New Years), or use them as a gift for the holidays. There is lots of flexibility, since you can order one sheet at a time.

So have fun with them, and I’d love to see examples you use!

I have seen those, I recall I thought they were pricey and did not use them at the time. Might have to take another look at them.

Thanks for a great idea that is also very inexpensive.  I like to get my clients gifts but have a difficult time finding something they will like that won't break my budget.  I think I've found it now thanks to you!!!  Have a great day!

Rich another idea that I have used is by buying old lower denomination stamps (you can normally buy them at a discount) and mailing with all those to make up the postage.  If you have someone with the time to help put them on it really makes an impression.

Thanks,

Hi everyone - thanks for all the comments! I'm excited to see so many of you excited!

As far as price goes, the cost is $5-$10, plus the cost of postage. I don't think that's too terribly expensive, compared to many other closing gifts.

Wayne, Sally & David - it's so funny that you had the same thought of needing to be dead to be on stamps. Those comments made me laugh!

Mindy - right now I do a lot of coaching, but work in the Bucktown and Lincoln Park area.

Great concept.  I checked out the site and it appears to be relatively easy to do.  The cost doesn't seem that bad either.

Sandy - I'll bet you will cover more ground than with a billboard!  :)

Jon - The cost really isn't too bad at all, I think. Compare it to some other form of gift, and it's right in there.

deVismes - Thanks, people seem to really enjoy getting them.

they are a great tool -- have used them all the time since they were introduced -- they do make an impact -- good closing gift to when you use a photo of the house.

What a fun and innovative idea.  I think that I had heard about this a while back, but never realized how the stamps could actually be used by me in my business.  Thanks for knocking me over the head and making me realize there is a use for these photostamps.
