Dumfries, Virginia gets a bad rap....(the name that is) Yeah..it's been called Dum....FRIES...it won't be the first time any of it's residents or business owners haver heard that :) Dumfries, actually is one of the oldest chartered towns in Virginia. Measuring only 1.63 sq. miles in size..with approximatley 4900 residents, this little town has a lot going on. There is a, very active, town council, many businesses and alot of traffic.
