There is not doubt that Mt Shasta holds an important place in many people's hearts...Whether you think Mt Shasta is a Vortex or is a special place for other reasons, the facts remain the same...it's a very special mountain to many people...Native American and not.
I great up in the McCloud and Mt Shasta areas.I always tell people from outside the area that I grew up in Mt Shasta even though it was McCloud because about 99% of the people out there (in the larger cities) know Mt Shasta and about 25% outside the area know the name McCloud.
