The number of listings has continued to increase in Wake Forest over the last few months.  There is an overall 8% increase comparing 2007 to 2008.

Even with the increase in the number of listings Wake Forest, NC maintains a lower than national average for our Absorption Rate.  We have remained steady the last 4 consecutive months at 9.  The national average absorption rate is 11.  For more information regarding Absorption Rates and how they affect you whether buying or selling a home please email me.

The following graph depicts the activity of closings for the entire Wake County area.  These numbers are inclusive of January - September, 2008.  As noted in the graph, Wake Forest maintains a healty market share for growth, demand and sales.
