Interesting new iPhone Media Shopping Feature

I stumbled across a post by Kevin Tofel of JKontherun.com.  It talks about a great new technology that allows you to take a picture of a book, CD, or DVD, and it will instantly search the major online providers and give you available prices that are found. It seems like a really handy feature for when you want to price-shop, or if you run across a friend's book and you want to buy a copy of for yourself.

The post uses an example of a book about President-Elect Barack Obama. (Pictured to the Left)

To see how this fancy new iPhone application did, I thought I'd test it out with a couple books the bookstore seemed to be pushing really hard. Results below:

Bush Bailout Plan

G.W. himself was there & said he'd personally autograph a copy for the first one to purchase his book.

You can fool me once and, uh, no, fool me, as we say in Texas, you can fool me twice but, no, well, uh, thanks for promoting my new books to the Acid Rain and um, we have taken a firm stand on Acid Rain.  I don't think it's as big a problem as before but the bailout program will correct that.  And thanks in advance for buying the book.
