Where is Crown King, Arizona

By
Real Estate Agent with Firebird Realty

It always amazes me how many people in Phoenix don't know about the historic mining town of Crown King, located on 90 min north of Phoenix. Pine trees, cool weather and a small-town atmosphere that you just can't get anywhere else! A great place to retire or just spend your weekends enjoying the variety of town events. We even have a 2-room "little red school house" that provides the K-8 education for children who live in Crown King year-round.

26-Miles of dirt road winding through the
Bradshaw Mountains with incredible views
and a good chance to spot wildlife like gila
monsters, tarantulas, foxes, maybe even a
mountain lion!

1. N on I-17 from Phoenix
2. Exit on #248 Bumble Bee exit
3. Turn left and follow dirt road
4. Pass through the "Ghost-Towns" of
Bumble Bee & Cleator

Carol, I love old school houses and barns. You should do a post just with pictures of that school house and the history of it. I would be very interested, so if you do decide to do it, please e-mail me the link! (2-2)
