Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. B.B. King!
All Christmas preparations are on hold this weekend...my all time favorite, Mr. B.B. King is performing at the Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton, NJ.
He's in the area (NY Metro) for a few days, but the War Memorial show is the one to see. It's affordable, with tickets starting at $35 and the venue is beautiful!
The Patriot Theater at the War Memorial is widely recognized for both its grand architectural design, acoustics and its reputation for hosting a splendid array of concert events; the theater seats over eighteen hundred guests and has hosted everything from opera to local high school plays!
Show time is 8pm Saturday, December 6th, and the War Memorial is just steps away from the NJ State House and a 50 minute ride up Rt 539 to I-195 West from southern Ocean County!

By way of history, the War Memorial was opened in 1932, as "a great community center" and dedicated to the memory of the soldiers and sailors from Mercer County, New Jersey, who died fighting World War I.
The building is now a National and State Historic Site.
It houses an 1,807-seat, fully-equipped theater and a number of rooms for meetings and conferences. The War Memorial is owned by the State of New Jersey and operated by the Department of State.
In January 1999, Trenton War Memorial was reopened for public use following a huge historic preservation and renovation project which took nearly five years to complete. The renovated building was rededicated by the Governor and the Legislature as a memorial to New Jersey's dead in all wars and armed conflicts, and as a monument honoring the state's veterans.
The restoration not only returned the entire building to its original Italian renaissance Revival splendor, but readied it for 21st Century use with state-of-the-art technical theater upgrades, acoustical improvements, and better amenities.
