away the Tampa Bay Buckaneers tonight to remain UNDEFEATED at home!!
Talk about INTENSE!
The Panthers improve their record to 10-3 and
are tied for THIRD in the NFL and now LEAD the NFC South.
The Panthers
are now in position to hold their own and should be confident in
heading into an incredible
post-season! Our Panthers are looking AMAZING! In October, the Panthers went head to head with Tampa Bay on Tampa's field and were not able to score a touchdown--just a field goal. Tonight, the Panthers came out today with their claws out, ready to PLAY! Steve Smith, Deangelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Jake Delhomme all had awesome games for the Panthers' offense. The Panthers logged over 300 rushing yards and 466 yards total against the Bucs tonight!!!
Jon Beason, Nile Diggs & Julius Peppers (with his 1.5 sacks AND blocked 4th quarter field goal) punctuated an incredible team effort with a great defensive stance. The Panthers defense, ranked third in the NFL all really showed their stuff tonight!
And, of course there's Kasay (our last original Panther) and the
entire team--all had an awesome
game tonight, a 38 - 23
win! We're
looking forward to hosting the Denver Broncos on Sunday at
1:00...I predict another Cardiac Cats win!
