HI Wendi-Mae,

I've been to Cameron Park and all over El Dorado County.  I love that part of California.  Too bad I'm too attached to where I live or I'd move there.  I love the fact that it is convenient to Tahoe and Sacramento.  I know the area is growing (as it has been for the last 35 years) but it is still beautiful.  I like the Seranno Golf Course as well.

El Dorado-that mythical city of gold...

I do love Cameron Park and the surrounding El Dorado County area.  I used to go through there a lot when I ws younger to go skiing at Heavenly Valley.  It has grown quite a bit, and I've been there once to check out the area golf courses, and although there are more people there now, and more jobs, the place is still stunningly beautiful. 
If anyone has ever thought of moving to Cameron Park, which is located just outside Sacramento, in the Sierra foothills, it is a great place and close to everything, yet far enough away from the places you don't want to live near!
 What a great place, for sure.
