Notary signing

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Hometown
Two days ago I had to get a re-occupancy disclosure signed and notarized by the buyer. I represent the seller but was told from the buyers agent he is in Ft Lauderdale and I am closer to his client so I can do his work for him. Wanting to get the deal done I had my assistant meet with the buyer who we have never meet. The first thing out of my secretary's mouth was let me see your license. The person who said she was the buyer up until that point said I am her sister but I will sign for her. My assistant proceeded to explain why that could not be done (thank God for a great assistant, pretty too) and the buyers sister said I sign everything for my sister. To make a long story short the buyer came in Tuesday after 5 PM my assistant waited for her and had the notary wait around as well. As far as the other agent he is a BONE HEAD who doesn't want to do his JOB.

I once dealt with an agent team who answered the phone for one another and always identified as only one of the partners.  They were sheisters.  Lied to me multiple times.  Unbeknownst to them the sellers were related to my mortgage company's appraiser and many things these agents said were seller instructions the sellers didn't even know about.  There were lots of threats made and the closing was late because they didn't get the abstract to the title company in a timely manner for updating.   They lasted about 6 months at each company before moving on.  They considered themselves the "Duplex Queens" but my only thought was they got listings by bullying their clients.
