I am so blessed to be able to sit on my front porch at 9:46 AM, Wednesday, December 24th, 2008. This is my favorite working spot, other than working at the beach, or a vacant listing. I'm listening to the calls of various birds after a gentle rain. Life is Good.
As with many others whose life calling is working in Real Estate; I have some important decisions to make. Thankfully, I recently made the toughest one and am totally committed to the 212th degree for 2009.
Fortunately, in a people assignment rather than a real estate assignment, I was taught by modern parable what the 212th degree is for me; and, I know I can do it. (See Coming Blog: 212th degree)
The decision looming in front of me requires contemplation. My meditation search: God's Guidance. My find (click here:-) . Today's Just Sell quotation: The Future Doesn't Just Happen---It's Shaped by Decisions.
Paul Tagliabue (1940 – ) was a lawyer for the National Football League before becoming commissioner in 1989. He served until his retirement in 2006, ending a 17 year term that saw no player strikes or lockouts, the construction of 17 new stadiums, and a cleaned up and more professional image of the NFL and its players.

I have put a lot of personal work and some money into developing my business name and local "feel". However, I always had the feeling that I was holding my ground for the right opportunity for me (or US--God is my true Partner).
Anyway, developing the sales aids was a stress relief, just as writing for the Rain. So, if I give it up, it still isn't time lost.

It was a pleasure creating and designing. But, it did distract me from my true purpose in real estate.
Of course I will still do PSA's
I feel that I have researched the company enough to know that I welcome the opportunity if we have a meeting of the minds and I am chosen the Designated Broker for the MGC.
However, competition may be steep and I tend to be a bit "unusual" which would not be appealing to all. SO, at this point we will just wait; I have new listing plans to work to keep me productively occupied. I welcome my favorite scripture at this time; Palms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God".
Speaking of new listing--blog coming 3214 12th Street, Gulfport, MS
By the way, my listing focus will be with vacant properties. It seems that absentee owners need the most help.
If you are thinking of listing a property in the MGC, particularly Harrison and/or Hancock county--Give me a call. I will visit your property and brainstorm optimal positioning with you, as well as discuss target pricing relative to recently sold comps and your on market competition.
Sometimes, we may not list immediately if property issues need to be attended to. However, we will develop a plan of action. (I may be branded differently; I think as a seller--you will like it:-)
