I have tried to keep everyone updated on mortgage rates the best I could. This month we had a rate of 4.5% with zero points on a 30 year fix for about 5 hours. The lenders are keeping rates a little higher than they should until the beginning of the year more than likely. I hope you don't look at this as a negative, but rather the opportunity to contact me and get your application in. The process is that you can not lock a loan without an application. The lock button will be pushed with that in and agreement of what you want. I see 4.5% but maybe paying .5% point instead of 0 points.
