My son and I were doing our walk around the block the other day, and the neighborhood butterfly tree was full of butterfly's and caterpillars.
SOOOO - that means dad has to carry a couple of the caterpillars, and leaves home with us. We put them in his room and watch them transform, they are free to do as they please and once they are able to fly, he coaxes them on to his finger and takes them outside. Today was that magical day and I just felt compelled to share it with the world. Its just one of those awesome moments in your life, watching your 7 year old wake up to butterflys in his room, and have him coaxe them onto his finger, and then walk outside to let it go (he thinks he is a butterfly trainer) .
