Night Photography in MLS

By
Real Estate Agent with Fathom Realty

I found this in our local MLS.  Someone in Hampton Roads has been reading the posts on night photography but didn't pay attention to how not to do it.   I won't even mention the slant.  Sometimes you have to wonder what is going on with peoples heads and why did this person get the listing and what else is wrong.  I think the only thing worse then a bad day picture is a bad night picture.  At least they had a pretty good flash going on.

Can photo shop even help a picture like this?

And the garage shows up better than anything else!!  Perhaps it is from Alaska where it is dark all day long!!

I doubt that you could do very much to it with Photoshop. It if you lighten it it will probably be quite grainy. You could straighten it and probably crop it but most likely it will have too much grain.

Barbara may be on to something...it does have that "northern lights kind of feel." LOL

Seriously I can't believe someone would really put that shot on MLS!

Awww...that house makes me sad.  It looks cold, lonely and unloved.

Nice message by the agent.

Gene~can't believe you actually found this on MLS!

Thanks for sharing.

There's always hope, you just have to work with what you have...unfortunately I don't think they were trying for a twilight shot, hopefully it was just a "bad day" and they'll go back for a reshoot.

I like the sky you gave it, kind of moody now.
