Elaine,
I know exactly what you mean. We got two, one climbed my shirt today to sit on the towel rack.
Elaine, one of the nice things about kids is that "usually" they eventually stop chewing on things:)
Elaine - are you paying too much attention to your phone and not your four legged friend? ha ha.
I know people are getting their kids cell phones at a pretty early age these days, but getting your dog one, that is going too far!
Steven- Obviously we are just here to provide amusement for them!
Teresa- This is the SECOND phone he destroyed! He is no longer pictured on my phone!
Charles- Or he will run out of things to destroy. Hmmm, I wonder which will happen first.
April- Sure, throw some guilt at me! ;)
Cait- He's been given a stay of execution, but if he does this to my phone again...I will just be mad at myself for leaving it where he could reach it.
Sharon- He is still a puppy...should I wait until he's older?
Elaine, Give the pup a new chew toy, already. Not one marked Verizon (lol).
Elaine,
Clarification is in order. We got two that, if they were not cute, they would be hanging. They are cats, not dogs but probably about the same size.
Elaine,
Boss, my dog ate my homework. Good reason to have the insurance. Not one for it but these phones are expensive and stuff always goes wrong.
Marion- Apparently he likes things that smell like me, so I need to start sleeping with some of his dog toys! I've slept with worse. ;)
Pat- I know you can relate...still losing designer shoes?
Steve- Yes, cats are just like really tall dogs, because nothing is out of their reach. We have three, so nothing in our home is safe. And if they don't scratch it or chew it, they puke on it.
Johnathan- LOL! Yes, having it insured was a good idea. Wish I could have insured the boots he ate.
Oh Elaine, If he is a puppy there is hope! We had a dog who chewed up the carpet. Someone told me to sprinkle chili powder on it. It worked! Now you don't exactly have to sacrifice another phone, but I am assuming that if he is chewing that, theres other things he is also chewing on. It only takes a little bit and it works!
Awe.....he did not know what he was doing...he's just a baby! Did he actually take his own picture on it?
Yikes, little Mando joined our family a few weeks ago and I saw him chewing the corner of my hall cabinets yesterday. Our house has become a tidier place because of him, whatever is left in his range(he's also eaten a bank statement!) either gets chewed or peed on.
Teresa- Thanks! Sounds like a good (and cheap) idea! I will try it! Not sure I have chili powder...do you think Emeril's Essence will work? ;)
Debra- That would have been hysterical! No, Zeke used to grace the front of my phone, but not anymore. He has to earn that honor back!
Ronelle- Welcome to my world! My pets have taught me one lesson--don't get attached to material things!
Aloha Elaine,
It's amazing the gnawing power of our furry friends. Phones, sunglasses, pens(the mess), books, magazines, shoes, soap and anything left in their reach is fair game. Good luck and pet proof everywhere they go in your environment, you won't regret it.
Peace,
