Day 2 at Keller Williams Love Fest
or...I'm so tired!
This is the second day of the Keller Williams Family Reunion (KWFR) 2009 (KWFR09). It's the first official day though. Yesterday, Gary Keller gave his version of inspirational, and indeed it was. Today he gave his 'Vision' talk.
WOW!
I'm exhausted, so my notes here will be brief and general. Maybe later I'll elaborate or edit. Anyways, There were several excellent breakout sessions today. My day started with a talk by Wendy Patton on the topic of serving investors. Her talk was entertaining and energized. More importantly it was chock full of good, useful information. I now know how to better serve my investor clients AND how to educate them...
After that was Gary's Vision talk. He has such great foresight. I'll go in to that discussion later. What occurred to me just this moment was the RUDENESS of several of the associates sitting in the row behind me. Okay -so there are thousands of people in one space listening to this presentation by Gary - it's not exactly intimate, other than by Gary's charisma. The row behind me was full of chattering. OH! I SO wanted to tell them that I wasn't "there to hear you talk!". I don't get it - if the speaker is so completely uninteresting to you, then LEAVE!
Okay. I'm done. Back to Gary...he has insight and foresight and I'm so glad I was there.
After that, I think it was lunch time, but by then the blisters on the balls of my feet were beginning to makethemselves known. I had french-fries and spilled my $3 drink, but had great company. Then there was another great class, and, what I was looking forward to all day - the Eco-Broker reception. Totally great and going to get it's own post later....
Next are some of the pictures I took this evening before and during the Red Bash.
