Cactus League

There's just nothing quite like baseball.

Wouldn't it be great if you had a wide selection of teams to watch... not just those nearby?

And... wouldn't it be better if it didn't cost so much?

Well... we're spoiled here in Arizona.

We have fourteen teams to choose from.

Same rosters- a whole lot less money.

Plus... the weather is perfect!

This is the time of year that we get to brag about.

It's fun to take the whole family to enjoy a laid-back major league baseball experience.

If you'd like to know more, check out the official site of the Cactus League.

I love baseball and will try to plan a trip over the next few weeks out to AZ.  Although the games don't count it is still great to see them play.

You are lucky!  The only team close to us is the Baltimore Orioles and they just haven't been the same without Cal:( The cost is outrageous and the parking is a bear.  We occasionally go when our Title attorney has tickets...I sure do love to go...peanuts and beer and baseball, a winning combination.

Simon- I talk radio guy said "sports is simply entertainment with a score." This is also entertainment with a score... just not one that means a whole lot. I like it because it's more laid back (as if baseball weren't laid back already) and the temperatures are nice. We were in the low to mid 80's yesterday.

Chris & Karen- I've been to the Orioles stadium... which was a huge treat... epecially since they were my favorite team as a kid.

Chuck - We usually only go to sporting events when we get free tickets.  Everything is soo expensive!   I hope you have fun! :)

Go cubs Chuck.  Remember I predicted a world series win this year along with the Saints winning the Super Bowl.

Chuck - I'm a huge baseball fan - we love spring training in Florida, we'll be at the Braves Game at Disney's Wide World of Sports on Sunday.

Pretty soon, Maricopa County will have the Cactus League all to themselves - it looks like the Diamondbacks, White Sox & Rockies will all be migrating north from Tucson, much to our chagrin.  Spring won't be quite the same!
