Home sales in Rancho Alta Mira, a community in North Las Vegas, NV are down about 25% so far in 2007. Eleven homes closed in the first quarter, compared to 16 in the same period in 2006.
Existing resale inventory of 40 homes (plus 10 with accepted offers) means that there is about an eleven month supply of homes on the market, giving buyers lots of choices and room to negotiate. In this highly competitve market, it is vital to price competitively and have the home in its best showing condition. Homes in Rancho Alta Mira generally have larger lots (6-10,000 sq ft) and more mature landscaping than newer homes.
