The latest MRIS* statistics for Fairfax VA homes sales were released on February 10 2009. I have charted the average sales price for preceding January's to show you the Fairfax VA homes price trends. The average Fairfax homes price in January 2007 was $531,143 VS. the average sales price for homes sold in January 2009 at $360,721. We must also consider that Fairfax VA home sellers net is substantially less in this market because the concessions a seller will make to the buyer to sell the home (closing costs, home warranties, repairs, improvements etc.)
