Gold's

Gold's Gym offers a variety of fitness training for all levels. Gold's Gym has a variety of cardio equipment including treadmills with an adapter to plug in your ipod so you can either watch your own music videos or listen to your music while working out. There are elliptical trainers and stair climbers so there is every opportunity to vary your work out and challenge yourself. Gold's also offers Spinning classes which I highly recommend. They are fun, motivational, and offer a fantastic workout. Beginners are welcome, and the instructors take the time to make sure the bike is adjusted appropriately for the rider. Golds also has Rowbics Classes, Body Pump, Body Step and Pilates which are great and varied options.for cardio and strengthening workouts. The Rowbics Classes are done in a group with rowing machines, and it is another challenging workout.Gold's also offers personal training as well.

The Manager at Gold's Gym is Marty Yost, and if you are interested in membership,  contact Phil Lopez, Sales Manager at 714-378-4784. I have been a member there for at least seven years, and now my daughter Heather is a member as well.

Gold's has a friendly environment offering fitness training for all levels, and a varied workout depending upon what you are looking for in a gym. The weights are always re-racked  and the gym is always clean. Gold's was remodeled about two years ago, and has very nice locker rooms with showers. Gold's also has merchandise available for purchase if you are looking for additional work out attire.

Check out Gold's Gym, located on the corner of Brookhurst and Adams. Tell them Sharon sent you!

Nice....links directly from Facebook to your activerain blog...Also noticed you added a Twitter HTML to the side bar...very nice....

I'm also experimenting with this thing called Spoink and Plurk....

Sploink allows you to leave blog voice mails, that can be posted as a verbal message...could have great applications for real estate listings.

Plurk, I have no idea if I like it yet or not...

Take care

Sharon - thanks, I guess LOL. I seriously need to get back to working out! My backside can't take much more just sitting in front of the computer. ~Rita

Sharon, We have a Gold's gym here as well but I had no idea they offered so many things.  The spinning class I'm not sure of :) but I've tried some of the Pilates--hard work but I love the ones I can do!

Hmm. Marty Yost. That name sounds too familiar to me, and it's not like Marty Yost is the most common name in the world.

When I was looking around many years ago for a gym to join, 24 Hour Fitness was the only one that was open in the wee hours of the morning, like right now! So they got my money, and I got use of a huge facility with no one else around -- pool to myself, all the machines to myself, showers to myself. I discovered that about 1:00-4:00 is the best time to go to the gym to prevent standing around waiting for one's turn at any specific piece of equipment.

Nice localism post.  This looks like a teriffic gym.  I lived in Orange County for 5 years and really miss it.  However, our real estate market here has been so blessed with increasing values and smaller # of foreclosures that it was a good financial move for me, even though I didn't want to come when my husband was transferred.  :-)
