Why is it that Real Estate agents buy so much crap with there picture on it. I don't know of any other industry that is like ours. Ok the pens, drink coolers, water bottles, note pads, bottle openers, ice cream spoons and so much more STUFF. My lawyer and accoutant don't give away a bunch of crap why again do we.
I have found that most of that STUFF is for ego's and nothing else. I can't remember spooning out ice cream and said wow I got to call this guy to buy my car insurance. Get real. Magnets on refrigerators has to be the single worse item I have ever seen. Why, because the listing agent is never on the refrigerator. Today I ask a question about a date to an agent at a showing and she grabbed the agents calandar off the frig. to find the date. I had to laugh and make the comment that in 21 years of selling Real Estae I don't think I have seen a magnet on the frig. with the listing agents picture.
So keep buying the STUFF and keep that EGO boost happening. Hell I need sometimes to check a calandar when showing a home and they come in handy.
