Need A Prayer

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

So far by the grace of God I am keeping my foot. I am not out of the woods as of yet, only time will tell. Doctors are hopeful that I will only need to have skin grafting at this time depends on how well my body reacts to medication.

I thank all who have been praying for me and ask that I remain in your thoughts and prayers. The road to full recovery is long but, with God on my side I know that I am not alone.

Thanks for your prayers they are comforting. So far I get to keep my foot but,I am not out of the woods yet.

I have to stay on my back with my feet raised and being immobile is difficult.

Thanks for making me laugh it was much needed.

While being laid up and people come to see you even the doctors and nurses, everyone asks the same question how did you do it. I swear if I had a printer here I would just print up flyer's and hand them to the people as they came in.

I think I stand in good with the Lord, there have been many times where I have been in life threatening situations and have always come to ask the Lord for his love and guidance and he has always shown his love to me. I strongly believe in the power of prayer and wouldn't know where I would be this day if I didn't have a relationship with God. Most likely dead in a gutter somewhere!

I constantly pray for those who have fallen from faith be found again and renew their relationship with God, he is there always, all you have to do is open your heart to him and let him in.

Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. Each day when I check my active rain my spirit is lifted because of all the people who are praying for me. God bless you always.

An update for all my brothers and sisters is Christ and for all who have been praying for me.

First let me apologize for not getting back to you sooner. # 1. I have never lost my relationship with God during this long event and your prayers have been felt and I thank all of you.

I did however get down on myself kind of feeling bad mainly because of not being able to get around and always being on my back and life in my own house going on as if I weren't there anymore. The kids who stop in once or twice a day and tell me they loved me but they were off and running all the time. ( kind of lets you see how it will be when you are dead)

The wife was always there for me taking care of my bandages and feeding me and bathing me, wouldn't know what to do without her. God surely set me up with a good women.

Four months of me being in bed with my legs raised was boring no TV, but I had plenty of time to read and deepen my relationship with GOD. That was most important and each time I prayed I ask for his help but mainly prayed for others that I knew that needed prayers as well.

Atrophy had set in when I was able to get up and walk or try to and this was most unpleasant for me, my wife working and kids at school so I had to depend on God to get me up and around and feeling sorry for myself didn't help.

You have to understand my wife likes dogs but won't have one. And I am the opposite I love them and always want to be around them. There is a dog that comes to our office her name is Sadie she had been to our house a few times before and even spent a night or two when the owner had gone on vacation.

Well, I need motivation to get around and start working my legs and I prayed to God for a miracle and the next thing you know is that Sadie was visiting us for two weeks and my wife had agreed to watch her. This was my miracle! Sadie needed to be walked and cared for and I had someone to talk to during the day that was always happy to see me and now I am up and able to go to work and now Sadie comes to visit each week I get her every Friday-Monday and have been stretching it to Tuesdays most of the time.

Just wanted everyone to know that I do appreciate your thoughts and concerns and that GOD does answer your prayers. In the times I was feeling most vulnerable and needed him the most he carried me. It was like seeing only one set of foot prints in the sand, and we were walking side by side.

God loves all of us and we need to show him we love him too and the best way I know is to read the word and to pray to him and ask for his love & guidance.
